The specs, reviews & cost for the Intel i5-750 CPU make it an excellent choice. It is not as fast as the i7 series but according to published tests exhibits good speed especially when comparing power consumption characteristics. Cost-wise the i5-750 comes up in the middle between the Quad core or i3 CPU's and the i7 series.
