The price that you would pay for an EVGA motherboard is probably about the same performance, but I haven't done any benchmarks to confirm it's performance. Plus you get all the additional stuff like USB 3.0. Overclocking on this motherboard was pretty easy. Although I've tested my i7-960 OC, my chip stays at about 76-80ºC at 4.0Ghz. Air-cooled.
