I've been using these drives for several months now on a 3ware 9650SE-24M8 24 port RAID controller. All of my drives are still running firmware 04.05G04 and I have had no issues. I started with 3 and have been adding to and migrating the RAID 5 volume by a disk every few months as my needs increase.
