all I wanted was an extra SATA port (non-RAID) internal to my Dell SFF Optiplex 745 for a data HD. I was prepared for the worst. I was shocked when the driver loaded right up, and "My Computer" showed the SYBA in the device manager right away. Even more shocking, the Raptor I plugged in to the new SATA port showed up in "My Computer" pronto, and worked immediately. No fiddling required. Only thing, the 2 new SATA ports don't show up in BIOS. Nor can I configure RAID in BIOS, not that I want to.... I am guessing that I am supposed to be able to do this? Anyway, it works for what I want.. So, that is cool.Get more detail about SYBA SD-LP-SIL2IR Low Profile PCI SATA 2-Port Raid Card with SIL3512.
