As described, this does indeed fit the Dell Dimension 4300! We were a little nervous about that because of Dell's tendency to make little proprietary changes to components. Seems to be a study, well-made unit, comes with simple but fairly complete instructions. Although if you've never done this before, Google for more detailed instructions and make a sketch before you disconnect everything so you know where to reattach it all back.
