My pc has two RAM slots and this was the most memory available, so I bought one with the intention of buying another for the other slot if it worked. This item shipped the same day I ordered it. I installed it in my pc and it did not work. Did some research on my make and model to discover that my pc could not handle any more than 256MB RAM in each of the two slots. Stuck it back in the now mangled packaging, put it in the box it came in, slapped the return label on and sent it back. I was credited in full (including shipping) within a week. Once the credit went through I bought 2 of the 256MB ones PNY OPTIMA 256MB SDR 100/133 MHz PC100/PC133 Desktop DIMM Memory Module MD0256SSD-100/133, installed them and they work great.
