Unless you can turn this thing down, or have some serious means of dampening the noise, you will not be able to hear anything even through headphones unless you max out all your volume settings. Unfortunately, it only comes with a three pin (and 3-pin to molex) connector. For my board this means I can't plug it in to my main CPU-fan connector. Thus, my auto-fan modulator doesn't pick up on the fact that it needs to be turned down, and at 45 dba/3k rpm, you WILL need to turn it down... so I returned it figuring, what the heck, why don't I just get a fan that's turned down to begin with.
