At this moment there are a handful of manufacturers that make a USB2 expansion card that is PCI Express compatible. I have a Vista x64-bit Operating System and I periodically run into issues with compatibility, but this Sonnet USB expansion card was an easy install, and it worked flawlessly. No issues at all. It took longer to find a screwdriver to remove the PC cover than it did to do the install.
To minimize current running through the card, I connected my PC power supply to the optional power connector and currently run 4 items off of the rear USB ports. I've had this expansion card installed for about a month and everything still works great.
